Arrived in Prague via Aer Lingus with a very short stop at Dublin airport....enough time for a Guinness of course.

FYI: Do NOT wear any kind of bling shirt cause you will get a good pat down. Since I have had this done twice (because I didn't get my own FYI).....I think I am beginning to LIKE the pat down.

I tried a new pillow on the plane...a TRTL.  The jury is still out if it works or not. I love the concept. It wraps around your neck and you can rest your head on it. It gives good support for your neck and a BIG plus is that you can cover your mouth so no one can see you drool while you nap. I will know more on the plane ride home.

Our new home for the next 5 days is Hotel Metamorphis in the Ungelt. Our room is # 22 and it's a lovely, large and bright room.  Our suite has a separate room with toilet and sink and another room with a shower. The room faces the courtyard and it's lovely to hear the chatting and laughter of people as they stroll along the lane. We have large windows that open and have lovely, lemon colored curtains....a woman's touch.

Jet lag is always an issue, that is why we came a few days before the tour starts so our body can adjust to local time. As soon as we arrived, we went for a long walk in the sunshine and took in the rush of the locals going about their daily lives.   We went to a cute place "James Dean" for an early dinner...just a burger, fries and a beer.

Back to the hotel and ready for a good night's sleep.... and then.......couldn't sleep! Just laid there with my mind busily planning all the things we are going to do when daylight comes and I also tried to solve world problems....which exhausted me to the extent that I dozed off for a bit.
After that one bad night we both slept like a dream.

Here is our night view from our room.

The Hotel has a VERY,VERY,VERY tiny elevator.  We are on the second floor but did try it once.
I told you it was tiny !!
